I´m selling a great vintage Aoki Reibo the first 2.0
The shakuhachi is in great conditions and play very well in hole 3 octaves. I've been playing this flute for at least the last 10 years but lately i don´t play so i think sell it.
The shakuhachi has a very beautiful tone. It´s very smoth and delicate although it´s possible play wild
The flute needs a little maintenance if you want. The middle joint it´s a little loose due the age of the flute. In hot weather, like now, the joint expands and the shakuhachi works very well but in winter there are a little move between the parts. I think that the solution is so easy, with a little urushi in the joint will be fine.
Some holes of the flute were partially covered to improve the tune of the shakuhachi. Now play very well in tune in a range of 442-444 hz
The last thing that i need tell you is that someone, in the flute live, relaqued the botton root hole with a very ugly black urushi, i don´t know how much affect to the sound of the flute but it is there.
I tried sell this flute on ebay two years ago. The other day i found that someone stole my shakuhachi pictures and it´s trying sell one fake in aliexpress so if you see this shakuhachi for sale there, be careful because it´s false
due to maintenance shakuhachi needs i´m asking 2800 euros. Although you can play perfectly without doing anything. If i don´t sell in the next weeks i will try sell through Monty´s web, I have just written right now, but the price will rise enough
